Andre's sleeping habits are getting MUCH, MUCH better......

As many of you know Andres sleeps great during the day.  He lets me know when he is tired and I just put him on his crib, and only his crib, and he sleeps like an angel.  I do not have to rock him, or hold him, or sing to him. I just place him on his crib and walk away.  I love it!!!! Now, at night time he has been giving me problems as I explained it on my previous post.  Funny enough, right after I posted that ad, and as if God had been listening to my prayers, Andres now goes to bed at 7:30 - 8:00pm, wakes up at around 12:00am for a feeding, and does not wake up again until the next day at almost 7:00am.  I do not know about everyone else, but this works great for me, and I am loving it.  My baby is growing and learning the right way to do things. I am so proud of him.  I just hope this continues.  I love you Andres - you are such a good boy!

Andres is 5 1/2 months old and not sleeping through the night

What at one point I felt fortunate about, I now seek the solution for.  When Andres was only 2 months old, all of the sudden, one morning I realized that he had slept all night through.  From the on, he slept all night through, with just a few rare and occasional interruptions.  I felt accomplished! I was cheering about it and said to myself, Thank God... I will now be able to sleep.  How lucky!  Well...Well... I should have not called for victory so fast.  It has been almost 2 months that my baby DOES NOT sleep through the night.  He wakes up at all odd hours and I just do not know what to do.  I feel like I have no other resource but to let him cry....but, he cries really loud.  Anyhow, for the past week I have been trying to wake up only one time, do one feeding "bottle", and then come back to my room, literally turn down the monitor volume completely, and then go to bed.  When I wake up at 6:00am, he is awake and happy, so I go on......

Check this out: http://www.meetup.com/SouthCharlottePlaygroup/

This is a great website for current mothers and mother-to-be.  It provides you on a daily basis with a list of events including coffee meeting, tons of things for the kids to do, work-outs, play dates, and many more gatherings. There is also an area for announcements, in case you want to sell, buy, or are looking for something in particular, even babysitting co-ops. It is awesome! I love it and I definitely recommend it.  I have made a few friends this way and my baby had gotten to play and socialize with other kids too.
